ANALYSIS AND TECHNICAL TRANSMISSION
Since its foundation in June 2000, Asociación DUAL has shown great interest on the development of Research programs. During this time, it has written documentation which has then been distributed via e-mail amongst various network professionals and it has started to develop an initiative regarding the knowledge and comparative analysis among the various treatment resources.
TECHNICAL ITINERARIES
In July 2003, Asociación DUAL developed the first stage of this ambitious Project called “National technical itinerary: An initiative for the exchange of experiences when treating subjects with Dual Diagnosis”. At the moment, we have started the second program called “Continental technical itinerary”, whose aim is to repeat the previous experience but this time covering the European context.
This first stage was funded by the Antidrug Agency of the Province of Madrid, and we visited the following centres: Dual Diagnosis Units of Martorell and Sant Boi, in Catalonia, and the Dual Diagnosis Unit of Isla de Pedrosa, in Cantabria.
