Supported Accommodation for the treatment and social rehabilitation

Asociación DUAL manages 2 flats, each one for 7 men affected with Dual Diagnosis.  The maximum stay is one year, during which the residents receive a combined treatment between an Integral Assistance Centre for Drug-addiction and the flat itself, where a Social-educational intervention program and a clinical and psychopathological curbing program are developed. The relation between the referral centre and the flat is structured through a third Coordinated Intervention Program, which covers all the stages of the stay process.
The places at these centres are funded by the Antidrug Agency of the Province of Madrid, through a public service management contract. This way, they are totally integrated on the assistance network of the Agency, and all the vacancies are managed through its Assistance Department.

Supervised Flat

In June 2004, Asociación DUAL opened the first supervised flat for people with Dual Diagnosis. It is a continuity residential alternative for those who lived and completed successfully their stay at the Supported Flat. It is designed for a maximum of 3 residents who live together and self-manage their own flat, with help and supervision according to each individual and/or group needs. The stay normally lasts between 6 and 9 months.

This resource is funded through applications to various public and private grants. The occupation of those vacancies is directly managed by Asociación DUAL.
